Why is a central point of contact for gender studies needed in Germany? The establishment of an Institute for Advanced Gender Studies will be the topic of a conference on November 3 at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research (ZiF) at Bielefeld University. Scientists, the rectorate of Bielefeld University, and the Network for Women's and Gender Studies NRW are inviting participants to this conference. The proposed institute aims to provide new impetus for interdisciplinary exchange and strengthen international cooperation in gender studies through a fellowship program.
