The cutting-edge medical sector in North Rhine-Westphalia scores highly with innovative start-ups and SMEs, large international companies and leading research institutions. The diversity of the innovation landscape in North Rhine-Westphalia ranges from traditional business areas such as pharmaceuticals, medical technology and medical biotechnology to an enormously strong and diverse healthcare and research landscape with many innovative approaches, to new and emerging business areas such as artificial intelligence, digital health applications, personalised medicine and many other areas in the field of (medical) future technologies.
The Medizin.NRW cluster brings together the various players in innovative medicine in a powerful network. A central goal of the cluster is to support and accelerate the translation of innovations along the value chain.
Our cluster conference brings together the highly interdisciplinary community of innovative medicine in North Rhine-Westphalia. With workshops, lectures and networking, we highlight the best of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Exchange of experiences in seminars
As always, the exchange of experiences and networking are at the heart of our cluster conference. As usual, there will be three seminars in the morning on various aspects of cooperation and infrastructure.
Seminar 1: R&D cooperation in difficult times
How can international cooperation continue to be established and maintained in challenging times? What are the challenges and how can they be overcome?
Seminar 2: Large international projects – challenges and success factors
How can projects and consortia be successfully established internationally and brought to a successful conclusion? How can networks be established that can serve as a basis?
Seminar 3: Building infrastructures – tools, experiences and opportunities
How can you build an infrastructure, operate it and raise awareness of it? Practical experiences with challenges, tools and opportunities.
