Deadline KlarText Award
Add to CalendarAll scientists who have written a doctoral thesis in biology, chemistry, computer science, earth sciences, mathematics, neuroscience, or physics in the past two years are eligible to apply. Those who have earned a doctorate in a related field but whose work can be classified in one of the seven areas are also welcome to apply.
The prize has been awarded under the name „KlarText – Klaus Tschira Preis für verständliche Wissenschaft“ since the 1990s. The Klaus Tschira Foundation has continuously developed it since then. In 2017, the prize was renamed “KlarText – Prize for Science Communication.” On its 20th anniversary in 2022, the special prize for the best infographic was awarded for the first time. Starting in 2023, the infographic category will be announced annually.
It's worth participating!
The best articles and the best infographic will each be awarded 7,500 euros and published in the science magazine “KlarText.”
The winners will be accepted into the active alumni network of the Klaus Tschira Foundation.
The KlarText Prize is awarded annually. Researchers who have completed their doctorates in the previous two years are eligible to apply.
