CSP Short term Programm of the Medical Faculty
The short-term program serves to promote early-career scientists in the clinical-practical subjects of the Faculty of Medicine at RWTH Aachen University.
The funding covers the financing of the researcher's own position for a maximum of 3 months in the form of full-time equivalents. The research period can therefore be extended with a corresponding reduction in the scope of the position. A duration of 3–6 months is possible with a position scope of 20–100%; the research period must be taken in one block and with a constant position scope. Smaller research projects (e.g. preliminary studies), the initiation or completion of a larger research project, the application for extramural funding, the preparation of publications, or the learning of new techniques can be carried out.
The protected research time can be used individually. It can be used for smaller research projects (e.g. preliminary studies), initiating or completing a larger research project, applying for extramural funding, preparing publications or learning new techniques.
The protected research time cannot be used to write applications for animal experiments, ethics applications, applications for intramural funding or similar.
