With the event ‘Quality Initiative for Clinical Trials – NRW’, BUVEBA e.V. and Medizin.NRW are bringing together experts from research, clinical practice and industry on 16 July 2026 in Bonn to discuss quality, innovation and future prospects for clinical trials.

Current developments, prospects & challenges

Clinical research in NRW faces major challenges – yet at the same time offers enormous opportunities. The focus is on current developments, prospects and challenges for clinical trials in Germany – from quality assurance and trial organisation to innovations and future requirements for trial centres.

NRW as a location for clinical research

With this event, the organisers aim to strengthen the exchange between science, healthcare and industry and further enhance North Rhine-Westphalia’s profile as a major location for clinical research. The Medizin.NRW cluster is contributing its activities to network clinical research in NRW, as well as its expertise from the flagship initiative KliFoNet.NRW.
