FF Med - Funding of the Equal Opportunities Officer
The Equal Opportunities Officers at the Faculty of Medicine have the opportunity to support female doctors in their scientific careers through the NRW-funded "FF-Med" project. The program is announced in the fall of each year.
The program is aimed at female doctors in the post-doctoral phase, both in the early and advanced stages of their habilitation. The funding includes a leave of absence corresponding to the research project of between 50% and 100% and a maximum duration of 6 months. How this time off is structured can be decided by the candidate in agreement with the clinic or institute management. In principle, funding is possible in the period from April to the end of November.

To be eligible for funding under the FF-Med program, the following criteria in particular must be met at the time of application:
- The program is aimed exclusively at female researchers.
- The applicant must be employed as a doctor at the University Hospital RWTH Aachen for at least 50% of the statutory working hours in patient care
- Completed doctorate
