The “Short-term” funding line of the Clinician Scientist Program, the Faculty of Medicine awards protected research time by funding its own position for clinician scientists. The funding enables protected research time in a period of 3-6 months with a job scope of 20-100%. The research time can be used, for example, to carry out smaller research projects, to learn new methods in an already existing research project, to prepare publications or third party funding proposals in case of outstanding preliminary work.

Key requirements: Applicants must hold a tenured position of at least half-time, have a doctoral degree, and submit a clear research time plan.
