CV-Template of the DFG
The DFG provides a template for the academic CV, which has been mandatory for submitting proposals to the DFG since March 1, 2023.
Even if you are not currently planning to submit a proposal to the DFG, it may be worth taking a brief look at the template, as it provides an indication of how research assessment could develop in the coming years.
The following applies in particular:
- The publication list should not contain more than 10 peer-reviewed publications. Quantitative metrics such as the journal impact factor (IF) are explicitly not taken into account.
- The template provides ample space for the presentation of individual framework conditions and special features of one's own academic career as well as various aspects of academic commitment.
- If available, the template asks you to provide your ORCID.
CV template for intramural funding
For applications within the framework of the various intramural funding programs of the Faculty of Medicine, there is an adapted CV template based on that of the DFG.
Miscellaneous
If you would like to use the CV template in other contexts, please note that other aspects may be of particular importance and would need to be added. (For example, proof of experience and GCP knowledge in ethics applications for clinical trials).
