DFG Proposal Support

DFG "Sachbeihilfe" grants are among the most important funding instruments in the German research landscape and enable anyone with a completed scientific education to carry out a single, thematically and time-limited research project at any time, regardless of the topic. In particular, the majority of the Faculty's intramural funding measures are aimed at supporting applicants on the way to applying for such projects. Researchers who have already acquired the relevant qualifications and experience should make use of this funding instrument, as successful funding can be essential for a further academic career.
