Early Career Scientists

The Researcher Alliance of the University Hospital Aachen, URA for short, is an association of (young) scientists from all disciplines, research institutions, and career stages (PhDs, postdocs, but also physicians working in science) who work at the University Hospital of RWTH Aachen.

The focus is on networking and promoting young scientists in particular. In addition, interests, challenges and wishes are to be identified in order to communicate these in the (university) political context and proactively help shape forward-looking solutions. This is supplemented by in-house workshops, training formats and projects to promote research and increase awareness and attractiveness of the medical research location at RWTH Aachen University Hospital.

In terms of content, we are engaged with, among other things

Networking of and for scientists
Representing the interests of scientists in the (university) political context
Coordination and implementation of events, training courses and projects
Collection of opinion polls
