Cost center management

The first intramural funding or the first third-party funded project is often accompanied by the first responsibility for a separate cost center [Kostenstelle]. Cost center management is an integral part of project management and should not be neglected. You should therefore familiarize yourself with the reporting portal at an early stage if you are given your own cost center.

Instructions on how to view third-party funding account statements can be found on the intranet. To access the third-party funding account statement, you need valid SAP access. You can request this via the IT Service Portal.
